How to take a picture of pomp?
(8.8.2016)Most people might have seen the cathedral in Cologne. Not too far away, in Aachen you can find a little brother. Standing in front of the church it seems much less spectacular. It’s build into the city, sometimes wall to wall to the surrounding houses.
But if you enter the room you see: These people really thought big. The design policy was: If you can’t make it out of gold, at least use marble.
But: Can you capture this in a picture? How? Try to see the details? Use the whole room? Not so easy.
